"I mean its alright"
The app has lots of options for animes but you only get a free couple of episodes before you have to pay. Aswell it is very glitchy and there are adds that take up lots of time.

"Do not subscribe"
What else to say that others have not said , "garbageroll" one word. Date of experience ever since I paid for a subscription. Fake season, they are not seasons they are the same seasons with different language.The app crashes on smart phone Samsung ultra s22, Roku, Android TV and now the laptop even with the browser add-in, all you get is oops 😬 I'm running fiber getting up to 1gbs everything else works fine. I'm not sure why Funimation sold out to Crunchyroll but because Funimation platform is a million times better. DO NOT 🚫 Waste you money. Crunchyroll should be sued for everything including not letting other competition thrive.

"The worst streaming site and app"
This app and website are the worst thing ever. Trust me, dont give them the money they don't deserve. They are complete trash. And even after paying it will stay trashy. Save yourself by going on a site run by pirates like 9anime or Animixplay. They're safe and i have never had problems with them. Im just saying, dont waste your time on this crunchyroll bs. You have to pay for anything good and the stuff u dont have to pay for, you will have to pay later. And the bad stuff is the one thing there so its useless. Absolutely the worst streaming site and app i have ever used. And also 6 unskippable ads of 1 minute each back to back? Dumb asf.

"Money grabbers"
Absolutely shocking, paid for a membership twice and both times money was taken from the account but no subscription has been activated. Complete waste of time and money.

"Bad app, bad quality"
If you are on the app, horrible. That is awful. I don't know if it's because I am an American, and getting this set of shows from overseas, but it is always crashing on the app, it is never consistent. Almost every time I watch a show it has to buffer and even when it does buffer it doesn't do anything. It is much worse when it is during the time periods of 8/7 central because every is watching TV at the time, but even when it's 2 AM when Americans are asleep, it doesn't work. It's not a good app. Everybody should say this thing it's horrible.

"Repeat billing issues, automated customer service"
I have had repeat billing issues with this company, and their customer service gives unrelated scripted or automated responses. The few times I have actually gotten ahold of a person they simply told me they were sorry but they don't have the authority to fix anything. I have had an annual subscription for 6 years now, but whenever I need to update my payment information they change my plan to a newer one with less features, a higher price, or both.

Recently my credit card number was stolen and I got a new number, but the timing happened right when the membership was renewed so it didn't go through. I got them the new card number as soon as I could (within about 3 days), but now they won't let me renew the plan I had, forcing me onto either a monthly one (that's $20 more per year), or else one that has half the features we used, all because I was the victim of fraud. I've contacted their customer service 3 times now, but just get email responses telling me that I can now sign up for the free 2 week trial. It doesn't feel like my support tickets are even being read.

"Crunchyroll has the worst customer service"
I don't normally leave reviews, but I just feel so frustrated. I've had issues with them from the time I created my account.

First of all, my account was charged when I tried to sign up for the free trial. However, I got an error message saying that my card did not go through. If it didn't go through, then how were you guys able to take the money from my account? I reached out to them via chat asking why I was charged even though I signed up for the 14-day free trial. They said that my card wasn't charged - even though I provided proof that the money was taken out of my account. They then said that they would escalate it. Fine.

I get an email from them the following day and they again reiterated that my card was not charged. But, they also added the 14-day free trial. I tried to get the Megafan trial, but they gave me a free trial for the Fan subscription. I reached out to them again asking them if they could change the free trial to the Megafan trial, and I attached my statement as proof to show that that was the trial I wanted. They then replied to my email saying that my card was not charged and that they already put the free trial DESPITE me already explaining to them that they put the wrong free trial! So again, I replied asking them to change the plan to the Megafan from the Fan.

This is utterly ridiculous. I shouldn't have to speak to multiple agents to resolve an issue (and as of right now, the issue STILL hasn't been resolved). As someone who has worked in a customer service call center for years, I know how important it is to have a resolution on the first interaction. So the fact that they failed to do this is very sad and frustrating.

Get your act together, Crunchyroll. Customers should not have to speak to multiple agents to resolve their issues, let alone a simple issue like mine. If it wasn't for my brother liking anime, I wouldn't even be dealing with you guys.

"Ordered in-stock figures from their US…"
Ordered in-stock figures from their US store about 3 weeks ago. No feedback as to when I will receive my order. Submitted over 5 tickets to their customer service with no response. My order still states "processing". Crunchyroll is a scam - never buy from their online store!

"Crunchyroll won't cancel my sub."
I had a nitro membership and got Crunchyroll roll free month through discord, biggest mistake of my life. There's no option to leave, on desktop or app and I've been emailing and writing them on Twitter for the last 3-4 months and no response. Best bit, my bank card was renewed and I had to put in my new details for all my subscriptions ACCEPT FOR CRUNCHYROLL! I was made redundant and they some how keep managing to take my money, the bank can only take back the money they rob! But why the f am I having to phone my bank once a month to stop paying service I only used for the months free service. I hate Crunchyroll and I want to see the company dragged to court and closed down then maybe I can finally stop being charged for a service I don't use.

Update: Crunchyroll legit blocked me on Twitter for sharing reviews of there service.

"Shame on you ! SHAME ! How Crazy is that ."
Honestly this was the nail in the coffin for me.

I been using the service for couple years , paying my subs and supporting games they publish ... but killing Priconne out of nowhere like that was just the final straw.

They cannot handle any IP properly and are just making a bunch of cash and slamming anything they touch into the dirt to rot .

Absolute atrocious company ... Shame on you .

"I am not renewing my subscription"
I am not renewing my subscription with crunchyroll for 2 reasons. 1 the the app is rubbish in one menus it says the show is dubbed but when you load it up there is no option for it. The second is the lack of dubbed content, It’s not for everyone but the option would be nice. I did sign up for Funimation previously due to having more dubbed but there prices have gone up to the same as crunchyroll.

No option for dubs on firestick or the app?

Why is it, I can watch any anime in a language of my choice for free if I wanna pretend to be a pirate, but if I PAY for a service, the episodes aren't dubbed, there's missing episodes and some episodes are shorter? And there's no option to skip insufferable intros. Really?

Ordered an item for grandchild. They said supply issues. Just looked now and said it arrived in August, that's a lie. Never sent.
